Dragon Warrior - Tiger Wizard
Warlock Roc - Bat Alchemist
The Mad Dungeon podcast has two formats. First, members of Epic Levels and a guest from the RPG community create a system-neutral, playable one-page adventure map using improv, comedy, and lifetimes wasted on roleplaying games. They then publish and release these adventures as a PDF through their Patreon and for free on this very site. They also release Side Quest episodes where the hosts discuss games they’ve played and gaming news.

This episode is sponsored by Exalted Funeral, and we talk about The Mall. This wet, gooey, practical effects filled TTRPG adventure is set in a ’90s mall pulled out of time and space. The mall’s denizens are trapped inside with a creature not bound by any one form. It slithers among them now, preparing to assimilate and imitate its victims until no one is left and it can open a rift between its home dimension…AND EARTH!
The Mall is an official adventure module for Liminal Horror (3 stat roll under, fail forward TTRPG hack of Cairn) by Goblin Archives, for and 3 – 6 players.
Check out Epic Levels Mad Dungeon episode MD 023 Necroprancer from more fun mall action.

We interview Gavriel Quiroga about his new Kickstarter for NEUROCITY – Colorblind Edition. Inspired by sci-fi works like Alphaville, 1984, Brave New World, THX1132 and Dark City. Neurocity is a subterranean city complex crowned by a glitched digital sun ruled by an ever watchful supercomputer named I.S.A.C.
We chatted about doing this on our Old-School Essentials episode, and so, we’re really doing it! The contest will be open for submissions through August 17th 2023. You may submit a Dwarf you’ve already drawn, or draw a new one. You must be the author and owner of the Dwarf Drawing, and be okay with us sharing it along with your name on our social media. You can submit any kind of Dwarf you like. Warhammer mohawk Dwarves, Gimli’s, Silly named Snow White Dwarves, Heck! Even Dark Sun Mul (Dwarf Human Hybrid) will be acceptable!
